The St Barth Cata Cup is an annual catamaran regatta that has attracted professional sailors, passionate amateurs as well as local crews for over a decade. It's not just a competition, but a celebration of sailing, camaraderie, and the natural beauty of St Barts.
To celebrate this 15th edition, our agency is proud to be associated with this much-appreciated event on the island by supporting the boat crewed by Ad Noordzij and Maarten Noordzij, who will be flying the Sibarth Real Estate colors on the race course.
The competition takes place over four intense days of racing. Teams of two sailors compete on Formula 18 class catamarans. The courses vary each day, with different challenges, from long straight-line races to more technical coastal courses. The variety of weather conditions and courses tests the skill of the sailors and adds a dose of uncertainty to the event.
The St Barth Cata Cup is distinguished by its community spirit and festive atmosphere. Spectators happily mingle with sailors at convivial parties, open-air concerts, and other memorable festivities to which the island's population is invited.
